Dr. Sophia Aramoon

Meet Dr. Sophia Aramoon, a talented and compassionate dentist with a dedication for providing the highest quality of dental care to patients in the La Jolla community. Dr. Aramoon received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry before attending the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She has continued to advance her clinical skills through courses taken through the prestigious Kois Center, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and American Academy of Clear Aligners.

While Dr. Aramoon’s expertise includes a wide range of dental services, her passion is creating beautiful smiles for patients that restore their happiness and confidence. For a patient, this could mean clear aligners to straighten teeth, veneers to improve the shape and color, or a full mouth rehabilitation to restore functionality and chewing abilities. While her clinical skills are top-notch, Dr. Aramoon’s gentle touch and calming energy have made her a patient favorite, with many singing her praises for her ability to alleviate anxiety in the dental chair and provide a painless and pleasant experience.

Outside of the office, Dr. Aramoon’s commitment to excellence extends into her personal life. When she’s not busy creating amazing smiles, you’ll find her channeling her artistic talent into paintings, card-making, and even pottery! Growing up, Dr. Aramoon was a musical prodigy, mastering not one, not two, but three instruments – piano, violin, and guitar. She is devoted to living a joyful, healthy lifestyle, maintaining her physical and mental acuity through Pilates, ice-cold matcha tea (yum!), and caring for her two adorable miniature beagles.
