Dr. James Cheng

Dr. James Cheng is a ping pong wunderkind, Ultimate Frisbee aficionado, and a fan of anything his mom cooks. Above all, he is a talented, skilled, kindhearted dentist that has dedicated his career to serving others. After growing up in Georgia, Dr. James attended the University of Georgia where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in microbiology. He even spent a summer in Ecuador on a medical entomology trip teaching elementary kids in underserved communities!

Dr. James attended dental school at the Dental College of Georgia, followed by an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Birmingham VA Medical Center. He has continued his post-graduate education through advanced courses in implant placement and restoration, esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, surgical dentistry, and sleep apnea solutions. Dr. James is dedicated to providing the best outcome for patients, blending his technical skills and compassion to give patients the beautiful smiles they desire and deserve.

When Dr. James isn’t studying up on the latest and greatest dental techniques or creating beautiful smiles, he teaches dentistry part-time at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, paving the way for future dentists. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and Bernedoodle, Juna, and playing the best golf courses in the Denver area.
