Upcoming Wedding? Braces Take Years, Consider Veneers!

For your wedding, get the smile you’ve always dreamed of. Veneers can help make that happen.

We all want to look our best on our wedding day. Whether you’re posing for photos or simply having fun, the last thing you’ll want to worry about is how your smile looks. Depending on your timeline and the condition of your teeth, you’ll have many options when it comes to achieving a brighter, straighter smile.

Veneers are an easy, quick way to fix your smile and improve your confidence. Unlike braces, the full procedure can be completed quickly. You can start a month before your wedding and be fully ready for your big day. If you’re unhappy with your smile, veneers may be just what you need to feel satisfied and confident on your wedding day.

What Are Veneers?

Veneers are thin, porcelain laminates that are bonded to your real teeth, becoming part of your real teeth. Veneers can be used to straighten out the alignment of uneven teeth, to fill in gaps between teeth (even the gap between your front teeth), or to correct misshapen or chipped teeth. You can also use them to whiten your smile.

Veneers are custom-made and can be tailored for color, shape, and even for length to make sure that they fit your look. They are designed for a natural appearance, making them look just like your real teeth — but better.

Veneers are also stain-resistant, making them an ideal solution for a lasting, beautiful smile. You can either get a full set for all your teeth, or get select individual veneers to cover stained or chipped teeth. With good dental habits, they can last anywhere from 10 to 20 years.

How Do I Get Veneers?

Compared to getting braces, getting veneers is quick and easy. First, schedule a consultation. A dental specialist will consult with you about your teeth, and the treatment you will undertake. You will receive an overall dental health assessment, and under the guidance of a specialist, choose the color and fit of your veneers. Your veneers are custom-made, and you will work closely with your doctor to achieve the exact smile you want.

Once you have designed the smile you want, it will take two to four weeks for the veneers to be made. Once they are ready, you will return to your doctor’s office to have them applied to your teeth. Depending on how many you chose to apply, this process can take up to two visits.

Since the total treatment can take up to four weeks, give yourself at least a month — or, even better, a couple months before your wedding. This way, you will have time to adjust to your new look.
At ESPIRE, we understand how important your wedding day is. Veneers are a great way to get the teeth you’ve always wanted. If you are interested in learning more about veneers and whether they’re right for you, contact us today and schedule a consultation.
