Dr. Christopher Havens

Dr. Christopher Havens is known around the office as the official teller of (sometimes funny 🙂) dad jokes, but even more so, he is known for his gentle and compassionate approach, making sure each patient feels important and comfortable in his care. Dr. Havens was born and raised in Laramie where he grew up enjoying the benefits of both small-town Wyoming and the expansive outdoors. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at the University of Wyoming before moving to Ann Arbor to attend dental school at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Havens enjoyed studying and developing his skills in dental school, but still snuck in some time to attend football games at the largest stadium in the country.

After dental school, Dr. Havens completed a general practice residency at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where he became certified in advanced cardiac life support, IV sedation, and gaining experience in extraction of third molars and treatment with dental implants. He is passionate about helping patients with fear or anxiety get the care they need in a safe, stress-free environment. That’s his jam! With his advanced clinical skills that include same-day crowns, dental implants, and sedation, he is able to treat a wide range of patients’ needs.

When Dr. Havens isn’t creating amazing experiences for patients, you can find him just about anywhere outdoors. He even loves biking into work! Together with his wife and 3 kids, they enjoy hiking, camping, and skiing. He is proud to serve the Cheyenne community and can’t wait to care for you as his patient.
