Raised in the charming suburb of Pittsford, NY, just a stone’s throw away from the bustling city of Rochester, Dr. Kim began her journey in dental excellence as a proud graduate from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with high clinical honors. She further honed her skills during a rigorous General Practice Residency at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kim excels in a wide array of dental procedures, including restorative work, crown crafting, surgical extractions, and delicate root canals. Her passion for dentistry and dedication to continuous learning ensure each patient receives the highest quality care with precision and compassion.
Dr. Kim’s talents extend far beyond the dental chair, as her journey is filled with remarkable accomplishments! A virtuoso violinist, Dr. Kim graduated from the prestigious Eastman School of Music Preparatory program. She’s also an avid athlete, having completed six marathons and numerous triathlons, and even conquered the Ironman Lake Placid in 2013!
When she’s not perfecting smiles, you’ll often find Dr. Kim cozied up with a good book, needles in hand as she knits and crochets, while listening to her favorite audiobooks. She enjoys gardening, knitting, boating, biking, skiing, and spending quality time with her husband, three children, their beagle, and two cats. Her diverse interests and talents make her a unique and valuable addition to our team. With a love for all types of music and a penchant for attending concerts whenever possible, Dr. Kim knows that life is about finding harmony in every note, both in and out of the dental office.
