Lizz Gentry, DDS

Meet Dr. Lizz Gentry – a second-generation dentist who grew up working in her parents’ private practice in Washington, DC. She is an avid Baltimore Ravens and Washington Capitals fan, with a heart of gold and a love for giving back to her community. Dr. Gentry is the oldest of four, with her little brother currently applying to dental school – guess you could say it runs in the family!

Dr. Gentry graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, followed by a one-year residency at the Washington, DC VA Medical Center.

When she’s not taking care of her patients, Dr. Gentry volunteers her time to the Mission of Mercy program, as well as the Hispanic Dental Association, providing free oral cancer screenings to local, low income Hispanic communities in need. She can also be found skiing and hiking in the Rockies, traveling to visit her family in Puerto Rico, enjoying outdoor concerts in Colorado’s 300+ days of sunshine, and spending time with her two dogs, Luna and Murray. Dr. Gentry is a yoga teacher (namaste) in her free time and is also a fan of listening to true crime podcasts and watching documentaries!
